Company

History

Brown's began in 2004 with owner/operator, Mark Brown, as the sole employee. The company expanded in stages over the next several years as it out-grew one location after another. Originally an earthworks company, the firm expanded into oilfield site preparation and commercial projects that included everything from excavating to snow making. As the equipment fleet multiplied, a new division for customer heavy equipment repair and servicing emerged and forced the need for an even larger facility. From its current 29,000 sq. ft. head office in Cold Lake, Brown's now employees over 200 people and operates in numerous projects throughout Northern Alberta.

Community Connection

The Brown brothers grew up in Northern Alberta and have an extensive network of family, friends and business affiliations and feel strongly about supporting the community.
